conclusion

this is the final chapter of the blog. cant say that i enjoyed it really, but i hope that i showed people a style of the music that i like, that maybe they wouldnt mind someday. alot of these bands inspired me to get into music. so i bought a guitar one day and am currently self teaching myself. so yeah. if you liked the blog good and if you didnt even better. cheers people and have a good one.

Dio

formed in 1982 and led by the late great vocalist Ronnie James Dio, after he left the band black sabbath. Dio in italian means god. the band has released 10 studio albums and ronnie was the only one too remain constant in the band throughout the whole years. some good songs are holy diver, the last in line and thats all i really know.

slipknot

formed in des moines, iowa in 1995. slipknot was originally founded by shawn crahan and the late great paul grey. they have sold over 18 million records. they have some crazy members and also crazy masks. they currently have 8 members in their band. one being joey jordinson, one of the best drummers of all time. song good tunes are wait and bleed, the heretic anthem, duality, before i forget, vendetta and physcosocial. check them out

anthrax

anthrax was formed in 1981, founded by guitarist ian scott and danny lilker. they have released 9 studio albums and 20 singles. they are apart of the big four of thrash. they were also one of the first metal thrash bands to sign a major label. some songs are metal thrashing mad, madhouse, belly of the beast, fight em till you cant and i am the law. check em out

ac/dc

formed in 1973 by brothers malcom and angus young. although they are classified as hard rock, they are considered as the pioneers of heavy metal. to date they are one of the highest grossing bands of all time. they have sold more than 200 million records worldwide, their album back in black has sold 49 million records making it the highest selling record by any band. some greats are hells bells, T.N.T, for those about to rock, dirty deeds done dirt cheap, shoot to thrill, highway to hell, thunderstruck and have a drink on me. and if you dont know who ac/dc well that is right terrible.

ozzy osbourne

ozzy osbourne was born in was born december 3, 1948. his career has spanned over 40 years. and as of december 2010, ozzy has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. ozzy has been one of the pioneers that made a impact on the start of heavy metal over the years. he was in the band black sabbath and then started his own band. such greats like randy rhoads, zakk wylde and gus g have played with him. some good songs of his are mr. crowley, bark at the moon, shot in the dark, no more tears, i dont wanna stop, and let me hear you scream. good band check them out.

van halen

van halen was formed in pasedena california in 1972. as of 2007 van halen has sold 80 million records worldwide. they have had multiple members in the band but the members that have been strong throughout all of the years is eddie van halen and alex van halen. eddie is one of the most recognized and one of the best guitarists of all time. some of their best songs include runnin with the devil, eruption, and the cradle will rock, and panama. so check them out.

slayer

one of the most well known thrash bands around. formed in 1981 by guitarists kerry king and jeff hanneman. their first four albums are some of their best peices of work in my opinion. raining blood, angel of death, south of heaven, hell awaits and show no mercy are some of their greatest songs. i myself have seen these guys live along with megadeth, and they put on a absolute killer show. i know that these guys might sound a little sketchy but they are good for sure. so check them out if you want and have a good one

megadeth

after being kicked out of metallica for drinking, drug use, violent behavior and conflicts between other band mates, dave mustaine formed megadeth along side with bassist dave ellefson in los angeles in the year of 1983. they are apart of the big four of thrash. they have released 12 studio albums, 3 live albums, 2 eps, 26 singles, 32 music videos, four compilations and one box set. they have sold 25 million records worldwide, with 5 consecutive albums being certified platinum or multi platinum. all of there albums are great and they have never changed there style or anything throughout the years. so i highly recommend checking these guys out, because they are awesome.

motorhead

formed in 1975 by Ian Fraser Kilmister known as lemmy, started the the band motorhead. in my opinion i think that motorhead is one of the most badass bands around today. the band consists of two other members, phil campbell and mickey dee. which have all stayed in the band right from the beginning. such songs like ace of spades, the game, overkill are some of there best songs. so check them out if you want too

municipal waste

different name. decent band. i found out about these guys a few months ago and i thought they were pretty good. they are a fast, aggressive band and thats what i like. their 3rd album, the art of partying is one of their better albums in my opinion. but all round there a good band. so if you want you should check them out and see what you think.
